About Us
We are in the lucky position of being owned and operated by a small, young and dedicated bar company where you won’t find a trace of the mass-market themes that are contaminating the social drinking scene in London. We have positioned ourselves in the gap left between the genres of 'Pub' and 'Bar'. We aim to promote ourselves through offering a superb and individualised service not targeting the ‘here today gone tomorrow’ style bar set.
The bright and airy Main Bar is the hub of the S Bar world. Having bare oak folding doors going the whole way round the ground floor gives the bar a lovely indoor/outdoor feel. It is furnished with traditional wooden and leather furniture with sumptuous leather sofas and cubes. We have a large projector screen and three plasmas for all your sporting needs. Whether the commentary is on or off depends on the game and the crowd of the moment.
The bars sells a wide range of ice cold draught and bottled beers & cider, a classy and well chosen wine list, an impressive array of spirits (over 7 different bourbons for example) and a good cocktail list with the emphasis on quality - without the lemongrass, gooseberries and cinnamon!
Table bookings are available for all events and meals on a first come first served basis. We can cater for parties of up to 50 for lunches and dinners (with advance warning) and 200 for sporting events! We have two large tables for around 15 people, perfect for that intimate gathering, and three sofa areas for groups varying from 6 to 15. All these can be reserved with a little warning.
On Monday nights we hold a quiz night, running a league until the end of November. The winner of this league will win a trip for four to New York!!! Dont miss out!!! Whether you fancy a holiday or just want to get involved when you can, its great fun.
